On the occasion of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s 127th birth anniversary, a program was organized under the aegis of Chitransh Ekta Sangh at the residential premises of senior Chitransh Madan Kumar Srivastava, located on Women’s College Road in the city. Attendees paid floral tributes to a portrait of Netaji.
Keynote Address by Professor Dr. Ashutosh Sinha
Presiding over the event, Professor Dr. Ashutosh Sinha stated, “Netaji’s life symbolizes sacrifice, courage, and determination. His slogan, ‘Give me blood, and I will give you freedom,’ continues to fill every Indian heart with patriotism and energy.” He urged everyone to imbibe Netaji’s ideals and contribute to nation-building.
Madan Kumar Srivastava’s Reflections
Senior Chitransh Madan Kumar Srivastava highlighted, “Netaji formed the Azad Hind Fauj to fight for India’s freedom, displaying unmatched bravery. We must remember his sacrifice and work for the betterment of society by following his ideals.”
Warm Clothes Distributed to the Needy
Chitransh Yuva Samrat and BJP leader Rituraj Sinha sponsored the distribution of warm clothes among the needy. Over sixty beneficiaries, including Pradeep Malik, Krishna Ballabh Sharan, Munni Devi, and Bajrangi Mahto, received the clothes.
Reflections on Netaji’s Legacy
Advocate Ashok Bairagi, social worker Sanjeev Singh, literary figure Rajesh Pandey, and others shed light on Netaji’s sacrifices and the role of the Azad Hind Fauj in India’s freedom struggle. Social worker Ratnesh Srivastava remarked, “Netaji devoted his entire life to the freedom struggle. His slogans, ‘Jai Hind’ and ‘Delhi Chalo,’ continue to inspire generations.”
