Christmas Gathering Held at Catholic Church Ahead of the Birth Anniversary of Lord Jesus Christ

Madhubani : A Christmas gathering was organized in the prayer hall of the Catholic Church located in Vardhi Van under the leadership of Father Philip from Kottayam city in Kerala. The event, held ten days before the birth anniversary of Lord Jesus Christ, saw the participation of people working in hospitals, schools and other establishments.
Christmas and New Year Preparations Amid the Gathering
People from various cities in Jharkhand—Ranchi, Lohardaga, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh—and states like West Bengal, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, are set to return to their respective hometowns to celebrate Christmas and the New Year. Before this, on Sunday, a reading from the Holy Bible was conducted in the church, followed by folk dances and hymns performed in the Sadri language of Jharkhand.
Prayers to Lord Jesus and Mutual Greetings
Participants prayed to Lord Jesus for joy and prosperity in their lives. During the event, attendees exchanged greetings with each other, making the gathering a memorable occasion.
Communal Feast and Presence of Distinguished Guests
A communal feast was organized at the end of the program, which saw enthusiastic participation from all. The event was graced by notable individuals, including Dr. Rajeev Ranjan, Superintendent of Saras Hospital; Grace Minz; Mamta Ekka; Chandrakant Mishra; Father Joyson from Prabhat Bhavan, Sakri; Ansar Kriti Shobha; and Librita Hansda, among others.
The Christmas gathering conveyed a message of unity, love, and brotherhood to all present.
