 **Assistive Devices Distributed to Beneficiaries on International Day of Persons with Disabilities**

On the occasion of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, special programs were organized at the Pandoul Buniyad Kendra and the Collectorate in Madhubani. District Magistrate Arvind Kumar Verma distributed battery-operated tricycles and other assistive devices to persons with disabilities.  

**Devices Distributed to Beneficiaries**  

During the event, a total of 12 beneficiaries received battery-operated tricycles, one beneficiary was provided with a wheelchair, another with a standard tricycle, and two beneficiaries received crutches. The distribution brought enthusiasm and joy among the beneficiaries.  

**Information on Schemes for Persons with Disabilities**  

Assistant Director of the Social Security Department, Ashish Aman, informed the attendees about their rights and the various government schemes available to them. He also encouraged persons with disabilities to approach the Buniyad Kendras located in the district's five subdivisions for assistance in resolving any issues they may face.  

**Presence of Officials and Staff**  

The event was attended by ADM (Revenue) Shailesh Kumar, ADM (Disaster Management) Santosh Kumar, District Manager of Buniyad Kendra Manisha Kumari, TSE Bharat Bhushan, and other staff members of the Buniyad Kendra.  

**Voices of Persons with Disabilities**  

During the program, persons with disabilities shared their challenges and appealed for prompt solutions to their problems. The event not only provided much-needed support but also raised awareness, fostering hope for positive changes in their lives.
