Vayu Veer Vijeta Car Rally by Indian Air Force

 VAYU VEER VIJETA CAR RALLY BY INDIAN AIR FORCE: LADAKH TO TAWANG FROM 08 OCT 24 TO 29 OCT 24

Indian Air Force has organized a mega car rally for air warriors, air veterans and civilians with the motto 'Vayu Veer Vijeta'. The aim of the rally is to instill the  spirit of 'Sada Vijeta Bharat-Veer Vijeta Vayu Veer'  and to commemorate its 92nd anniversary by paying  tribute to war heroes for their supreme sacrifice in the line of duty and  to motivate the youth of country to join the armed forces.

  The rally commenced from Thoise, Ladakh and will culminate in Tawang, 

Arunachal Pradesh and was  flagged-off by Hon'ble Raksha Mantri from National War Memorial on 01 October 2024. The participants aim to cover more than 7000 kms road distance.

The rally is being led by Wing Commander VP Bhatt of Air HQ. During the event, a total of 55 participants in 13 Maruti Jimny vehicles will make approximately 16 enroute halts, visit War Memorials enroute and interact with youth in Colleges/ Universities to motivate them to join Armed Forces. 

The  rally arrived at Air Force Station Gorakhpur on 18 October 2024 and the participants were welcomed by Air Commodore Prashant, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Gorakhpur and  Station personnel. The participants placed floral tributes at the 'Shaheed Smarak' in remembrance of the brave hearts. The Air Officer Commanding congratulated the participants for their commendable efforts towards inspiring the youth and spreading awareness about the achievements of the Indian Armed Forces. The rally proceeded to its next destination, Darbhanga on 19 October 2024.
